Countrywide Home Loans, Edify, E.J.Gallo Winery, Gymboree, Levis, Netscape,
Pottery Barn Kids, Quickbooks, Red Envelope, Target, Wells Fargo, and many others. Concepted and wrote
copy for interactive and print advertising for Saturn, Sprint PCS, First
Union Bank, The Mirage and EV1. Strategized concepts,
sold ideas to client and wrote advertising copy for various divisions
of Microsoft Corporation. Completely responsible
for all copy in PowerBar's $7.4 million annual advertising and collateral
budget, including print, television, radio, outdoor, direct mail, brochures,
point-of-purchase, and newsletters. As a member of the
30-person in-house ad agency, I proposed strategy for the nation's largest
direct mail issuer and most profitable credit card company. Promoted
to Senior Copywriter in April 1994 to oversee a department of four writers. Conceptualized,
wrote and edited promotional materials for national sales staff selling
Sports Illustrated as an advertising vehicle. Recruited as the magazine's first in-house copywriter. Solely responsible for copy on all sales promotion efforts during heavily publicized 25th anniversary year.
